Advanced LNK – New Handle Set Installation in Chagrin Falls OH
Our team at Advanced LNK recently worked on a beautiful old home in Chagrin Falls Ohio. The homeowner wanted to upgrade the original hardware on their front door, which dated back to around 1920. The old door had a vintage handle and a jimmy-proof dead latch that had been there for decades. While it had charm, it was time for an update to improve both security and appearance.
In the photos, you can see the before and after of the job. Our technician carefully removed the old lock and latch system, taking extra care not to damage the original wood door. We then installed a new modern grip handle set that gives the door a much cleaner and more elegant look. The new hardware also provides better protection and smoother operation for everyday use.
The homeowner was very happy with the result.
The new black handle set matches the character of the house while adding a touch of modern style. It not only looks great but also offers stronger security compared to the old hardware. After the installation, we tested the lock several times to make sure it worked smoothly and fit tightly in the frame.
